It has just reopened after major refurbishments, making it even more delicious, and our favorite room is the Howard Hughes suite. Florida's first floating chapel (ww.weddingsonwater.com) is now open for ceremonies off the coast of Clearwater. This million-dollar venue holds up to 125 people and can reach speeds of seven knots an hour. Ceremonies cost from ₤325 and are conducted by a captain in dress whites.
Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi is a wow stopover en route to the Far East. The hotel's golden colors complement the sands of the Arabian Desert and the building is home to the biggest dome in the world with the light of more than 1000 chandeliers reflected in square miles of gold leaf.
